Eastern Plains Whitetail
Hunt |
| The Eastern
Plains are producing some great whitetail deer. Good chance to see and harvest a
150+ Boone & Crocket buck. In 1998 the best buck scored 177. Hunting will
be mostly done from tree stands. There is an excellent buck to doe ratio that has
good numbers of larger bucks. Must draw a tag. |

Eastern
Plains Mule Deer Hunt |
| Mule Deer Hunt on the Eastern Plains for some great
deer during the regular season. Ranch lodge has showers and electricity. Must
draw a tag for these hunts. With a land owner preference and any point you have
should draw your first or second year. |

Colorado Wilderness Elk
and/or Deer |
| This
wilderness hunt takes you 16 miles back into the bae camp. Altitude at base camp is
11,500. Only four hunters in camp on a 1 on 1 hunt. You will be hunting very
rugged terrain that houses some nice 5 x 5 and 6 x6 6 bull elk with mule deer running
around 25" to 30". Success on muzzleloader runs 50 - 75% with a higher
percentage of opportunities. Archery success will depend greatly on
hunters ability. 25% to 50% is the norm with higher sightings.
Elk permits usually take 2 - 3 preference points to draw. Deer permits
usually are drawn the first year or with one preference point. Hunt dates open for
2000. |

Colorado Horse Pack-In Elk and/or
Deer Rifle Hunt |
| You will pack in 8 miles into a
wilderness camp. The outfitter will utilize two base camps and four spike camps with
a maximum of 6 - 8 hunters per hunting area. They rotate hunters between camps
depending on weather conditions as to increase success rate. Have enjoyed 40% to 50%
over all ratio. Have had hunts 60% to 80% and higher. |
This is a five day hunt
with seven days out.
