It seems all hunters have all dreamed of hunting the vast Alaska wilderness.  With it's 365,000,000 acres and 14 species of big game animals Alaska offers wilderness hunting found in just a few other locations throughout the world. 

Most hunting in Alaska begins in August or September and end in October. The hunting in some areas continue into the winter months.   Hunting in some areas are permitted all year for some species.


Check out a few of the hunts available in Alaska
Some hunts are draw only. Application on most of the species must be in by May 31st, the others you can buy anytime.
The 2000 Alaska Hunting Regulations publication will be available July 1, 2000.
